Higan: Eruthyll Character Masteries

Higan: Eruthyll is the newest RPG which is expected to launch soon in early January 2023. Developed and published by BILIBILI, the strategy real-time RPG is expected to be one of the biggest gacha games released for the 1st Quarter of 2023. Players can get a preview of the game and set their expectations accordingly by looking at the official trailer or simply by reading our first impressions for it.

Higan: Eruthyll will be available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The game has already crossed over 1 million pre-registrations on both platforms as well as their official website. Players can play it on PC with MuMu Player.

All the characters in Higan: Eruthyll have a specific role that they need to fulfill in order to prove efficient for the team. You cannot expect to go and stomp battles with 4 DPS characters with no hero to tank any damage for you. Similarly, you cannot expect to win battles with 4 Tanky characters as there will be no hero to deal damage to the enemies. 

Here are the different roles that each character is classified into:

Guardians and Hoplites – Guardians and Hoplites are 2 different classifications but they are often intermingled with each other due to the similarities they share. Both of these classes are considered tanky front-line damage absorbers that can act as damage soaking machines. However, the major difference is that while Guardians are pure damage absorbers, Hoplites on the other hand can even deal a decent amount of damage if they are built right. These characters will do their best to protect back-line allies and block the damage coming from the front-line enemies.

Damage Dealers – Damage dealers of DPS (Damage Per Second Heroes) are some of the best characters to take into the game if you want to end the battles fast. Their sole purpose is to deal damage to enemies. The higher the damage dealt, the better they are considered at their job. Any formation is incomplete without the addition of DPS characters. Again, just like our tank, damage dealers are also divided further into different categories. These are going to be Caster, Assassin, and Ranger. Due to the nature of their class, they are generally very squishy because of having lower defensive stats but higher offensive stats. Their role is to obliterate the enemy's front line and eventually reach the backline.

Adiutrix – Adiutrix is the supporters in Higan: Eruthyll that provide healing to allies, crowd control for enemies, and general utility for the whole team. They are crucial for the smooth functioning of any team and are generally the backbone of any team. Some characters can double down as Adiutrix while being a Guardian as well.
