Honkai: Star Rail 1.6 Pure Fiction Team Guide

In Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, trailblazers will encounter an event called "Pure Fiction", which highly emphasizes AoE damage rather than single target damage. Therefore, the best-recommended team and characters used in this event are a bit different than usual.

Best Pure Fiction Teams

Note: the following teams are not listed in any particular order. Any variation of these will help your maximize your scores.

 

Argenti Hypercarry

Example: Argenti + Tingyun + Pela (Flex) + Huohuo (Flex)

 

Pure Fiction mode is the perfect playground for Argenti, and he excels in AoE damage. Tingyun is essential in the team too, as her skill can quickly stack Argenti's energy.

 

Note: "Flex" means you can change those for any other characters with similar functions

 

Himeko Follow-up

Example: Himeko + Asta + Ruan Mei (Flex) + Fu Xuan (Flex)

 

Paring Himeko with Asta makes breaking opponents easy, so that she can use her follow-up passive to the utmost. If you don't have Ruan Mei, you can also consider Herta, as her own follow-up is pretty easy to activate too.

 

Jing Yuan Follow-up

Example: Jing Yuan + Tingyun + Pela (Flex) + Huohuo (Flex)

 

The mechanics of this team is similar to the Argenti team. The Lightning Lord can take a bit longer to hit the enemies, so having extra energy to make up for it with your Ultimate is a must. When there are enough Lightning-weak enemies, you can also consider slot in Serval as a sub-carry.

 

Jingliu/Herta Ice Team

Example: Jingliu + Herta + Pela + Gepard (Flex)

 

Herta is quite important if you wanna use Jingliu in this game mode. She will do the job of finishing whichever opponents remain on the field once she finishes attacking.

 

Qingque Carry

Example: Qingque + Bronya (Flex) + Xueyi (Flex) + Fu Xuan (Flex)

 

The "6-star" Qingque is also a perfect unit for Pure Fiction mode. E4 will be much stronger, and E6 is the best. Xueyi is a great partner for Qingque, so if you have her remember to bring her too.

 

Destruction Team

Example: Any Desruction path + Pela + Bronya (Flex) + Luocha (Flex)

 

Destruction characters like Imbibitor Lunae, Blade, Clara, Xueyi are all worth to try in this mode.
